The results was very possitive, and I decided make it as soon as I win some free time... and this moment arrived some days ago....
The first instructions will be for the Land-Rover Defender, I started to do the digital files, and now they half done, after that only left prepare the final PDF.
Before you rub your hands... the instructions will NOT BE FREE.
Of course I will publish the complete part list as soon as I get it, and then you can decide if you want to buy the instructions or not.
If you want I send you an email when the instructions are available, send an email wroting it to:
info @ sheepo.es
Of course, I will not share those e-mails with other people
UPDATE: 1-7-2013
I finished the digital files some weeks ago, my helper has now the files, he needs some time to make the PDFs.
The total parts count is higher than I thought... it has around 3200 parts.
- Complete Chassis
- Drive train
-Front axle
- Rear axle
- Bodywork

Can't wait. I know you don't like to put a date on things, but do you have a rough idea when.
When will it be on Rebrickable? :D
and how much will they cost
I don't know the the final price for it, but the cost-per-part will be similar to other instructions from Jurgen Krooshoop or Crowkillers.
oké thank's
Would free instructions of JUST the gearbox be in the cards? Or for a rather small fee? Or maybe just some up close pictures of the unit itself....
Will you have part lists so you can get all three parts =D
The digital files are not finished yet... as soon as I can I will upload the complete part list(also in XML format to use with bricklink)
are you going to have brick lists so you know what parts you need to buy
Everybody will can get the complete part list before buy the model, and then decide if you want to buy the instructions or not.
I think that you are doing the right thing by making the instructions not free considering the amount of time and money building the car. Just wanted say. :p
Any chances to have the instructions before the holidays ?
Sheepo, podrías hacer las listas en formato LDraw?Te agradecería mucho que pudieras hacer las listas así.Un saludo.
Finally the instructions will not be available before chrismas :(, sorry.
La lista de piezas la pasare en formato de Brickstore (.xml) compatible con bricklink.
Starting to lose hope here. I saved money for the instructions!
Please be patient, I finished the digital files some weeks ago, but my helper needs some more time to finish the PDFs without mistakes...
Sheepo, you rock! I just sent an email, per your request.
And how much will it cost about instruction and if you have a post on which you can send a couple of questions? Can you send me an email response (desirehd16gb@gmail.com)?
Sheepo,
Do you think it will run fine by replacing the 2 XL drive motors by 2 L motors ?
Hi, It looks very good :-) when can I buy the instruction?
Стас Гордынец if you want to send me some questions you can write me to my email published in "About me" page.
Anonymous 1: You can't because the speed turn and torque are not correct for the transmission gear ratio, also the L motor doesn't have enougth power.
Anonymous 2: I don't know the relase date yet, but I will publish it as soon as they are finished.
Okay, that sounds good.. But is it 2 days, 1 or 2 weeks? approximately.. Im really looking forward to this..
so excited about the rover! Any update on when the plans will be done? days? weeks? months?
I hope it will be available at the end of this month, but I can't guarantee it...
I'm unable to send you an email request for instructions. Will you publish that information here, so that I will be able to purchase them?
ie.(similar to Crowkillers website where those items are for sale? )
Your MOC's ROCK.....I'm looking forward to building this masterpiece!
Of course I will publish here all information about the instructions and how to purchase them. The email request is only if you want I send you an email when the instructions are available, so you do not need to look here often to stay informed, but nothing happens you don't send the request email :)
Hello Sheepo,
Do you have a part list so we can start buying all the parts?
Ps. I love all your MOC's! :-)
As I have wrote before... I will publish the part list as soon as I have it.
Do you know how much the parts will cost ore guess it ??
Do you have any idea when the instruction is available for purchasing?
How is the process?
When the user is ready?
Would the transmission be able to handle a LPE engine? Its just an inline 3+turbopump. I am building a car and the transmission would be perfect for it if it can handle the torque. I have a 3+R transmission and auto clutch right now controlled by 2 servo motors but its very large due to the servos.
I don't know the LPE's torque... but the LR transmision can handle the torque of two XL motors joint in 1:1 ratio...
The LPE has the torque of maybe 2 or 3 XL engines at 70psi going to the cylinders. runs about 1,000-1,100 rpms.
My main concern is the transmission kicking out of gear. right now mine will kick the shifting ring out of the gear and I only have 1 XL motor connected to it for testing and it is 1:1 ratio. Kicks out of gear once I start climbing a hill of decent grade.
Hello, when it will be available to guide? What is the process?
Unknown maybe your secuential system cann't support that torque, but this transmision can support two XL motors in this car. Maybe some torque is losen by friction but in the gearbox as minimun input 1.5XL motors torque.
Anonymus, the instructions probably will be available un 1 or 2 weeks.
wat will be the price for your instructions?
Would love to see how you did the front axle.
How many studs does the Engine bay allow before it connects to the transmission? Looking over the design of the truck, it could potentially handle my LPE. It is 16 studs long.
Hi, how's it going?
Any updates!?
It is almost finished, it will be published in a few days.
Can't wait Sheepo!
I will be honest with you, I finished the instructions yesterday, BUT I must wait to check it twice before publish it, this last step will need a couple of days.
AWESOME!!!!!
how much will it cost about instruction
I'm rubbing my hands together, ready to send some $$ your way for these instructions. Looking forward to gathering parts!
you are a genius. do you ever thought about working at the LEGO factorys? i am sure you would earn a lot of money there. could you maybe create some .pdf instructions? that would be great!!!! i can`t wait to see your next projects, and i am sure, everyone who had seen your other projects, too. A big fan
PS: you are awesome, guy!!!!
