how is it possible to make ackerman steering? aren't the hubs being steered linked with equal-length rods on a symmetrical steering rack, so wouldn't that mean the wheels turn the same amount at the same time?
Good question, as you said the lengh is symmetrical, but the steering arm when turn to one of the sides blend in two points and then it is slightly shorter than the distance between the turn points.
