Hey Sheepo, I love your stuff! Do you have any ideas for rear suspension techniques without drive? Like what you did in your Mini Cooper, when you are building a front wheel drive and you don't need a differential in the back.
Now I have many ideas, but I am working for a little company and I don't have time to enlarge the MPS, as soon as possible I will add more axles and chassis.
what are the part numbers for where the wheels connect? I'm trying to rebuild this in LDD. I need the numbers for the parts from the dark grey part to what holds the wheel and the part that turns the wheel.
Thanks
This part doesn't exist in LDD, and some others neither...
Hey Sheepo, for some reason I can't open the file of any of the MPS's can you help me?
Thanks! Kevin
To open it you need SR3D builder, you can download it free in internet
Hey Sheepo, love your stuff!!!
I'm trying to make a light and simple car at the size of a supercar that can run relatively fast on both tarmac and gravel (something like an evo IX MR or something similar). Note that i probably won't include any special functions other than steering and drive (maybe i won't even build bodywork). So I used these axles of yours in order to create the car's chassis:
Front: F.CD.1.3A (Note that I didn't include drive in this axle due to lack of pieces :( )
Rear: R.BD.1.3
Chassis: Unibody Type1 (C.A.1)
I use a PF XL motor to power the rear wheels by conecting it directly to the differencial because i struggle making even the simplest gearbox!. AND HERE IS THE PROBLEM: When i hit the accelerator from a full stop, the gears (the motor's and the differencial's crown gear) grind badly. Any idea about how to fix it? Keep in mind that I own only a PF XL motor, a PF M motor (which I will obviously use for steering), a PF IR Reciever, a BatBox and a Controller.
Thank you very much for the great help you have given me so far by postin instructions for the chassis and the axles.
P.S. It would be great if you made a post with simple tips about bodywork.
