I have been using SR3D Builder to create my digital models after finish my real models from more than 5 years.
I use it because in my opinion it is the best software to create technic models. You can do more things and it has more parts than LDD, and it is easier, more intuitive and quicker to build than MLCad.
Also its 3D models files are compatible with all LDraw tools(MLCad, LDview, etc).

Important announcement about my future cars
After many years following the same principle and rules in my cars, there is something important I will change starting with my next big car: from now to the future I will change the the scale ratio of my MOCs, from average 1/8 scale to 1/10, changing the "standar" 81.6x36 wheels to the 68.8x36 or 62.4x20.
The reasons for this change are very important.
- My cars are too big to be really playables, the Lego motors are very small, and the scale 1/8 is out of the useful size range.
- Using 1/10 scale instead of 1/8 you only need the 50-70% of the parts to build the same car with similar mechanisms.
- Less parts means less price for the people who want to built my cars.
- I will need less time to build a new car.
And now the most important question for the people who like my cars:
Will be my MOCs simpler now?
To be honest at the beginning probably yes, but as soon as I feel confortable with the scale I think I will can catch up a similar complexity of my previous cars.
The brakes are the main limitation in smaller scale than 1/8. The minimum wide with 68.8x38 wheels and full independent suspension is 27 studs.
If you translate 27 studs to 1/10 scale means a real car with 2.16m(85in.) wide, which it is too big.
My next car doesn't have brakes, but it includes many new functions and mechanisms, I am very sure than you will forget the brakes ;)
Now I only need build the bodywork to show it. This is the worst part for me because I don't like build bodyworks ;(

Mercedes-Benz Arocs 8x8 chassis (unfinished MOC)
With the new big Technic set 42043 Mercedes-Benz Arocs coming to the stores I want to share my unfinished and abandoned Arocs.
Two years ago a Mercedes Trucks dealership in Spain asked me about built a Arocs 8x8 for them in big scale. When I had the chassis finished they decide don't buy me the truck, so I stopped the development, but I kept the chassis assembled because I didn't need the parts for other projects.
This is what I built (the chassis has tons of dust... but after two years on a shelf is normal ;) )

Alternative parts for rare soft axles
I want to talk about a big problem when you create a technic MOC: the soft axles.
They are very usefull to create soft curves, corners and transitions in technic models, specially in the bodywork, but as probably most of you know, the soft axles have a big availability problem.

Sequential gearboxes family
Today is the third anniversary of this website!!
And for celebrate it I will show you many information about all my sequential gearboxes until today.
With my latest cars (Caterham Seven and Shelby GT500), I have introduced a new sequential gearbox type, and to avoid problems with how to call this new one, I decide add a new way to call all of them.
Since now the new versions of the sequential gearboxes will be called with ordinal numbers. In this ordinal numbers don't enter other gearboxes types like: dual clutch, planetary or CVT, just normal sequential gearboxes.

Making of: Mini Cooper Mark I
I spent more than one year to develop and build the Porsche 911, along 2010 and 2011. Finally I finish it in May 2011.
After dedicate all that time to only one car, I wanted to build something smaller and simpler, but at the same time I wanted to keep a part of the complexity showed in the Porsche 911.
I started the build in August 2011.

Making of: Porsche 911 (997) Turbo Cabriolet PDK
To celebrate the first anniversary of my Porsche 911, I show you the same as I did with the Veyron some months ago: a timeline of car development.
The design time for this car was specially long, because the car is very very complex and I needed some time to build others MOC as the Lizard 8x8 or huge Bridge-layer (not presented here) to keep mi head clear.
The design of this car started after finish the Veyron.
Initially the idea of building a second car so fast it was only for one reason: use in it all the mechanisms developed for the Veyron but I couldn't use, however some time after it was much more than that ...
Also if you look closely you can see things never show before...

Modular Platform System (MPS)
Probably the most popular vehicles to build MOCs are the Supercars.
We all love cars and the more fast and sports better, but if someone wants to make a Technic Supercar in big size and some complexity (scale 1/10 is the most used) and you don't have a good knowledge of the techniques, build it can be very complicated and end up as hopeless.
This system was created with the idea of helping all those people who want to make a supercar at approx. scale 1/10 and still not have enough knowledge to start, or want to make a car with more advanced specs as Ackerman steering, camber angle and do not know how to do it.

Making of: Bugatti Veryon 16.4 Grandsport
A few weeks ago looking in my old pictures, I found some pic about my Veryon along the contruction. And I decide share it with you, are very clever to show the building way in a MOC.
I decided to built a new top complex car and the begining the year 2009.

SuperCar 2009 Complete Chassis
This is the complete chassis of my SuperCar 2009, a Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grandsport
It have a completely sequential gearbox with 7+R speeds, unibody frame, all wheel drive, all wheel friction brakes, handbrake and more mechanism soon... All mechanism can be controlled by power functions.
The moc is divided in 6 fases, here you can see the 5 first fases, the last fase is the final Supercar
